All Hallows offers visitors the unique opportunity to stay in the heart of Norwich at the Julian Shrine, where Julian of Norwich lived and wrote her Revelations of Divine Love 650 years ago. Located in a former convent, All Hallows offers simple, comfortable hospitality across 7 bedrooms, with a focus on environmental friendliness and a peaceful, retreat atmosphere.

There are no TVs on site, with a focus instead on community and tranquility, and in addition to the refurbished bedrooms there is a generous selection of common spaces to enjoy privately or together, including a study library, house chapel, cosy sitting room with log fire, and state of the art self-catering kitchen and refectory. The gardens outside are stunning and include private access to St Julian’s churchyard, a green oasis in the middle of the city.

Simple living, ethics and the environment are central to All Hallows’ ethos, with linen sourced from organic cotton, toilet roll from unbleached bamboo, and all cleaning supplies plant-based and earth friendly, to name but a few. Continental breakfasts are always included, with ingredients from Norwich Market, made in house (including artisan sourdough bread), or sourced from other organic suppliers.

There are a range of single and double rooms available, with budget options overlooking Rouen Road and three premium garden rooms with a view over the medieval church and garden where renowned medieval mystic Julian of Norwich lived 650 years ago. All rooms have convenient access to plentiful shared facilities (5 toilets, 3 showers and 1 bath shared between 7 rooms).

Located only a five minute walk from Norwich Castle and ten minutes on foot from Norwich Cathedral, All Hallows is only a few metres from historic King Street, and a short distance from the market and other central shopping and eating locations.
