Written by Roald Dahl and adapted by David Wood, FANTASTIC MR FOX is the Maddermarket Theatre’s family Christmas show for 2024.
This much-loved story follows the vain attempts of three farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean, one fat, one short, one lean, to dispose of a family of foxes that regularly steal food from their farms.
Follow Mr Fox as he battles shattering shovels, ratty rascals and ginormous JCBs to protect his underground community of creatures and critters. They try to exterminate him by any means possible!
This production promises to be a spectacle, as a variety of creative disciplines are used to ensure the most magical of Christmases for you and your family. Expect puppetry, movement and music with the biggest sprinkling of storytelling!
