Part of the Octagon Concert Series celebrating 40 years, the Octagon Singers, Judy Tovey (Piano) and Mary Rae (Conductor) bid ‘A Fond Farewell’ with Tim Patient (Organ) and Lynne Davies (Narrator).
Programme to be favourites by Elgar, Franck, Faure, J S Bach, Chaminade, Whitacre, Sibelius, Verdi, Swann, Berlioz, Mendelssohn (Hark! The Herald Angels Sing).
At the wish of the Octagon Singers, any soprano, alto, tenor or bass who has a copy of ‘Messiah’ by Handel, is welcome to sing with them at the end of the concert for the ‘Hallelujah’ Chorus.
