A fantastically magical workshop for children who love writing stories and want to get tips from a real life author. Clare Harlow’s book Tidemagic is a brilliant adventure for ages 8-12 set in a world where magic ebbs and flows with the tide, giving people temporary magical powers called Tide-blessings.
Clare will talk about how you can find inspiration for magical stories, help you decide what Tide-blessings your characters might have, and explore how you can use those ideas to write a Tide-magical adventure of your own.
Tickets are £2 for a child and accompanying adult, or £9 which also includes a copy of the book.
