Afri-Fest East is the first of its kind summer festival in Norfolk that celebrates the rich and diverse African culture through a display of dance, music, live performances, games and a selection of African street food. During the event, there will be live band performances, dance and drumming workshops for adults and kids, a dedicated kid’s entertainer and face painting, storytelling, a drinks bar, different selection of African street food on display to tickle your tastebuds and a vendor’s market for various arts, fabrics, jewellery etc from local small businesses. There is something for everyone and kids go free!
As the evening approaches, there will be live Dj performance and live band music to settle into a summer party atmosphere as we celebrate some of the best sounds from the African continent including Afrobeats, Afro-fusion, Amapiano and highlife. Bring along your dancing shoes because this is one summer event you don’t want to miss and tickets are selling fast!
