Jazz for the old times, jazz for the new times. Tangential Trio are a Norwich-based jazz three-piece featuring trumpet/flugelhorn, double bass and drums. The trumpeter sometimes uses loops to build layers of harmony and sound, and the bassist sometimes uses effects to enhance his sound. Their set can include original compositions, a few old-school New Orleans two-best stompers, the odd pop song given a tangential twist.
