With the spring break fast approaching and t-shirt weather not far behind, it’s time to start planning how you’ll be spending the Easter period! Chantry Place Easter Trail

FREE to participate – Available from Saturday, 1 April – Sunday, 16 April

From the very beginning of April until the week after Easter (Saturday, 1 April – Sunday, 16 April), Chantry Place will be hosting a FREE family Easter trail around the shopping centre, with fantastic prizes up for grabs!

Pick up a free trail map and follow the posts around the Centre to collect letters which spell out an Easter-themed word. One lucky winner will win prizes worth over £100, including Easter Eggs, Jellycat Toys, and a H&M voucher! There’s prizes for runners-up too, with birdhouses up for grabs to take your garden to the next level!

Everyone who completes the trail will receive a sticker from Langleys at the end too. And, on select dates, Easter Bunnies will be around the centre handing out treats!

Easter Sunday Lunch at the WinePress Restaurant

Sunday, 9 April

£35 per person, with children under-12 eating at half-price and under-2s eating free

Celebrate Easter with all the family! Enjoy a traditional three-course lunch served in the Maids Head’s very own WinePress Restaurant. Their two AA rosette restaurant will be serving up a delicious Sunday lunch, and it even means you won’t have to worry about the washing up! There’ll even be activities and Easter Eggs for all the children.

If you’re not in the mood for Sunday lunch, their traditional afternoon tea is also available between 12-4pm, so you’ll have plenty of choice!

Easter Nesting Workshop

If you’re in the mood to get creative this Easter, Holkham have got the perfect workshop for you. Take part in this crafty session with Wild Oak Workshops, taking inspiration from how birds create beautiful nests.

In the workshop, you’ll create your own natural willow wreath nest by learning how to entwine birch, twigs, moss, blossoms, feathers, and other woodland treasures – finished with a raffia ribbon!

Learn more about nesting and get inspired by the nature around us and enjoy a delicious chocolate bunny while you go! If you’re looking to get the family involved, a mini wreath can be included too, alongside a special bundle of bunny cookie cutters and chocolates!

The Grand Tour – Tractor Trailer Tour

Ticket prices – £5.50 per adult and child (Under-twos go free)

Dates – Saturday, 1 April – Monday, 17 April, with extra dates on 22 & 23 April and 29 & 30 April.

Welcome aboard the tractor-trailer for a whistle-stop tour of the Holkham Park! This tour will take you and everyone on board to important historical and architectural buildings and structures that shaped the very history of Holkham.

You’ll pass the Great Barn, home of the famous sheep shearings, and the Obelisk sitting in perfect symmetry to The Monument. Here, you’ll pass fields of gold in Holkham Park, as they tell you about the crops they grow, the livestock they keep, and the conservation work undertaken to preserve the landscape.

Holkham Easter Market

FREE entry, with a £5 parking charge

What better way to enjoy your Easter weekend than with incredible views, a magnificent historical building, and an Easter market selling nothing but the best produce you can find in Norfolk?

This Easter (Saturday, April 8 – Sunday April 9), this seasonal fair will return to Holkham Hall’s Lady Elizabeth Wing, showcasing the very best from over 50 local artisan producers and makers.

Find a superb range of food and drink to fill up on, including homemade jams, chutneys and cheeses, fresh bread, cakes, a selection of beers, ciders, and spirits. There will also be gifts and crafts available to purchase, and outside you can expect a really tasty choice of street food vendors!
