Delicious Belgian beer brewed by monks… the stories are true – they exist! And at Bier Draak we have some special and hard to come by examples to try.
Trappist Beer = beer brewed under monastic supervision, generally including styles such as dubbels, tripels and quadrupels.
Abbey Beer = Beers brewed to replicate these much loved and coveted beer styles.
On Tuesday 18th February we are tasting 6 Trappist/Abbey beers of differing styles and strengths at Bier Draak on King Street, Norwich.
*** Important announcement, the final beer of the night will be the Westvleteren 12 – arguably one of the hardest beers to come by on the planet. Each bottle will be split 3 ways in the tasting. Amen***
