Christina Alden & Alex Patterson Album Launch

Norwich Lanes

A special night celebrating the release of the second album from Christina Alden & Alex Patterson. A highly anticipated follow up to their critically acclaimed debut ‘Hunter’, the new album showcases a collection of songs that are inspired by home, family and the environment. Their latest singles have gained support from BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 2, RTÉ Radio 1, championed by Gideon Coe and Tom Robinson for their ’Strong contemporary songwriting’ and included in a BBC show of Chris Difford’s favourite folk songwriters.

Christina Alden & Alex Patterson are multi-instrumentalists and songwriters deeply inspired by the natural world. Their music is rich with intertwining harmony, sensitive accomplished musicianship and a creative songwriting style that is both delicate and moving. They have a keen environmental eye to craft stories with nature at its heart, reflecting on the relationship between humans and the wild.

Featuring live drawing from Chris Riddell (Author, illustrator and political cartoonist at The Guardian).

Christina and Alex will also be joined by double bass maestro John Parker (of Nizlopi fame) bringing his exceptional musicianship to the stage.
