Puffling Percy

Creative Quarter Over the Water

Puffling Productions presents PUFFLING PERCY, written by Tessa Nicholson, a co-production with Norwich Puppet Theatre which goes on tour this Spring.
Percy is a puffling who is too afraid to fly. He prefers to keep to his burrow where it is safe and warm, thank you very much. What he doesn’t realise, however, is that Map and Pap are about to migrate south for the winter, along with the rest of his flock. If he doesn’t learn to fly, he will be left behind and his life will be in mortal danger!
Along comes a fearless field-mouse called Shrimp, and an unexpected adventure begins. But will Percy see Map & Pap again? And how will he ever find his way back home?
Through beautiful puppetry and performance, and with music and songs by Harriette Ashcroft (Mrs H and the Singalong Band), Puffling Percy brings together an exciting creative team to tell the tale of an unlikely friendship that defies the odds.
