Bier Draak is a ‘Continental Beer Bar’ offering predominantly Belgian, Dutch and German keg beer and specialist important bottles. It offers simple beer snack platters alongside a small selection of wines and spirits. Bier Draak also seasonally offers proper ‘The Garrick’ style Irish Coffees. The bar is excellently located for a quick one before or after on football days at Carrow Road as well as only being a few hundred yards away from The Waterfront.
In the first 6 months since opening the beer connoisseurs at Bier Draak have offered a vast array of tastings and unique events including fruit beer and cheese pairing, becoming a beer judge and beer related film drink-alongs. We are also a quaint space for hire for any small work teams or celebrations to either use the space or book a curated beer tasting experience.
Bier Draak’s inspiration has come from Bar Manager David Jones who is well known on the beer circuit in Norwich. He has been instrumental in the International Beer Tent at the Norwich Beer Festival and now has a permanent home in Bier Draak.
