Mondo is the DJ project of long-time collaborators and record collectors Chris Bright and Phil Cooper. The duo have been digging vinyl and sharing their finds in the crypts, bars, and clubs of the Fine City (and beyond) for over 20 years. Their Soul Roots Radio show and Discoteca Psicodélica club nights are built around a shared passion for Afro, Latin, Tropical and Asian rhythms. Expect echo-laden psychedelic cumbia, drum heavy afrobeat, deep Turkish funk, synth drenched highlife and much more!
TinaLaTina calls on her Mexican upbringing when it comes to her selections. Inspired by Colombian cumbia, a popular style of Latin American music embraced by the Mexican people, TinaLaTina will be taking us on a journey through cumbia rhythms and tropical sounds from across the continent.
Projection One are a DJ collective from Norwich, who came together through a shared passion for collecting Afrobeat and Latin music. Starting out in late 2018, they have built a reputation for their vibrant parties in the Rumsey Wells Underbelly, showcasing their favourite records from around the world […]. Since their early nights, the collective have moved from strength to strength, with a headline performance at Harlequin Fayre in 2022, and numerous guest slots throughout Norwich.
Previously collaborating with local guests including Wayward Natives, Shalom Sounds and Keith Slater, to name a few, the night will feature a line up of local guest DJs bringing their own flavour of tropical sounds.
