Turbulent Flow is an intermedia project combining music, video art, poetry and prose, celebrating and investigating wind energy, both historic and current. This event will showcase work from each of the artists involved, with readings of poetry from Helen Vine, prose from Wendy Constance, and culminating in the debut performance of the complete clarinet quintet composed by Bill Vine with integral visuals from Liam Roberts. The music will also contain field recordings made at Thurne Mill, the Norfolk Wind Energy Museum, Scroby Sands off shore wind farm, and the Parc Éolien de Fitou, France.
There will also be a showing of And We Might Briefly Resonate, a music-led contemporary dance film produced and composed by Bill Vine.
