DixieMix Jazz Band, led by Simon Nelson on trumpet and flugel horn has rapidly established itself as one of the UK’s most engaging and hard working jazz ensembles.

The band is a professional six piece excelling with fresh arrangements of many jazz favourites old and new and all with the DixieMix twist. Their enthusiastic approach has helped the band gain national recognition, leading to a tour with Rod Stewart, TV appearances and multiple festival and theatre gigs.
