Bookworms and foodies watch out for the latest City Food Trail coming to Norwich, the City of Stories!
Wednesday 1st – Friday 31st March 2023
This latest City Food Trail is perfect for everyone, from family-friendly dining to a late-night cocktail for two. There will be plenty of food and drink experiences to choose from as 44 of Norwich’s cafes, bars, restaurants, and market stalls are participating. Taking inspiration from Norwich’s rich literary heritage and a variety of much-loved storybooks, venues are offering creative themed dishes influenced by our love of reading and writing.
And venues have got really creative! Why not try the Chronicles of Sarnia mega sandwich from The Bodega on Norwich Market, Wuthering Bites from Grosvenor Fish Bar in The Norwich Lanes or Winnie the Pooh inspired Hunny Pot Bao Bun from Chi Street Food in Chantry Place.
If you’ve more of a sweet tooth, then there are plenty of delicious options for you too. Don’t miss Bruce Bogtrotter’s Chocolate Cake from Figbar, Gruffalo inspired rocky road from And Eat It or James and the Giant Peach Pizza from Eric’s Pizza in Yalm Food Hall.
To wash it all down – treat yourself to a George’s Marvellous Medicine colour changing cocktail from The Last or a roaring Tiger Who Came to Tea cocktail from TipsyJar.
And in case anyone needs more incentive, included on the City Food Trail map is a ‘library pass’ which encourages customers to collect stamps from participating venues. If customers collect six stamps, they can be entered into a prize draw to win an afternoon tea for two in glorious Georgian surrounds at The Assembly House.
You can pick up a physical map from all 44 venues or from our City Hosts. You can also download a digital copy of the map here- Norwich BID City Food Trail 2023
