Pint of Science - What Do Microbes Do For Us?

From Monday 15th May 2017 19:00 to Monday 15th May 2017 21:30

Biotechnology is a relatively new field of research in which scientists harness complex biological machinery to develop new technology which improves our lives. Explore how microbes are being used in biotechnology, asking ‘what do microbes do for us?’ They do more than you might think!

Pint of Science is an international 3 day festival which sees thousands of scientists standing up in pubs across the world and sharing their research. The festival provides a chance for the public to learn about exciting local science directly from the scientists, with the opportunity to ask questions over a pint!

Tickets cost £4 and can be purchased via the Pint of Science website
