From Saturday 6th May 2017 12:00 to Saturday 22nd July 2017 17:00
Part of the Norfolk & Norwich festival.
Ground-breaking German artist, Hans-Peter Feldmann's work features in the collections of major art venues worldwide, including Tate and The Guggenheim Museum, New York City.
He is well known for appropriating objects and making work that is often humorous, and frequently barbed. Copies of old master paintings are revised and don red noses or incongruous tan lines: toys are used for their ability to cast unsettling shadows and versions of celebrated sculptures – such as Michaelangelo's David – are luridly subverted.
Feldmann was included in the Venice Biennale in 2009 and was awarded the prestigious Hugo Boss Art Prize in 2010. This will be the first major showing of his work in the region.
Open Tuesday - Saturday, 12pm - 5pm.
