Moray-Smith Panorama of Norwich

From Monday 6th March 2017 10:00 to Saturday 1st April 2017 16:00

See the Moray-Smith Norwich Panorama, a large painted plaster bas-relief of the view of Norwich city centre from St James’ Hill, in The Gallery entrance.

The panorama was created around 1950 by local artist John Moray-Smith, who created many signs and plaques for pubs owned by Morgans Brewery, many of which are still on view around the city today.

The Panorama features hundreds of sites familiar to Norwich residents and visitors, and is accompanied by a display identifying the sites. A booklet on the Panorama and John Moray-Smith is available for sale from The Forum Shop by Jarrold.
